ICHIDO - the one way
BOOK ONE: "Without death there can be no heroes"

In the far future a young monk chose love over duty
betraying his brotherhood and unleashing an evil sorceror from the distant past.

During the final dance of her wedding,
the princess of Nihon
was the first to die.

The Shogun lost his mind as his eldest daughter passed away in the arms of her new husband
and the Empire of Nihon erupted in civil war.

His sons now feud over an abandoned throne.

Maintaining control over the West, the First Son wields an army of post-human biomechs from the forge city of Nara.

Amongst the ashes of the Tokyo Wastes the Second Son dominates the East with forsaken black magic.

Although officially declared slain during the Nagashino incident, the body of the Third Son was never recovered and to this day his mon appear on the armor of rebel terrorists.

Ten years have past and in a moment of anger the monks mental defenses abandon him
and he draws the attention of the sons of Nihon.

Our story begins in New Edo, the last remaining free city.

On this day where do your loyalties lie?

ICHIDO is a sci-fi/jidai-geki tale set in a Japan of the distant future where a fallen hero struggles to find redemption across an empire of ruin.

This reminds me so much of a book I read called Moxyland! If you haven't read it, I know you would love it! These characters could be right in the same world with Moxyland. This is awesome!
