Its been a loooooong time since I've done these kinds of paintings. Thought I'd give it a go once more in both programs.
I like to squeeze and turn the brush in photoshop but it seems Sai doesn't have that option. If anybody knows how to do this in Sai, please let me know! |

I used the second thumb above the astronaut and up scaled it. The cool thing about working in thumbs first, is you can tackle things like perspective, foreshortening, silhouette and/or design before commiting to a larger size.
